The background of the key becomes dark. Scan mode is now enabled. 3 Use the 10-Key Pad to set the number of copies. 4 Load up to 100 originals (80 g/m²) face-up into the EDH. Basic Functions 5 Press the [Start] key on the control panel to start scanning the original. ?How can I delete the data that has been scanned into memory? § Press the [Stop] key on the control panel. Press the [Exit] key to confirm the deletion of the data. 6 Check that enough memory is still available. ?Is there too little available memory left? § Do not scan any more originals. 7 Press the [Save] key to complete the scanning procedure. 8 Press the [Start] key on the control panel to start the copy job. When the copy cycle finishes, the data in the memory is deleted automatically. 4-70 Di5510/Di7210 Basic Functions Applying 90° Rotation Note the following important information!· A 90° rotation requires a large amount of memory · Paper sizes: A4 and B5 (lengthwise and crosswise) These features cannot be combined: · Basic functions: · Applications Vertical/Horizontal Zoom, Rotation Sort, Rotation Group Dual Page, Non-Image Area Erase, Repeat (except 2/4/8) 4 The "90° Rotation" feature is enabled by default. You can use the [Rotation Off] key to enable and disable the feature. § Press the [Rotation Off] key to switch off page rotation. The feature display for "90° Rotation" is hidden. Changing initial settings Use key operator mode to modify the system's initial settings. For more information, see page 7-1. However, only A4 paper is loaded crosswise (R) in the copier. The copy image is rotated by 90° automatically. As such, it fits 1:1 onto the paper. Original Paper 90° Rotation and APS The following situation occurs: G G You copy an A4 original crosswise (R). However, only A4 paper is loaded lengthwise (R) in the system. The copy image is rotated by 90° automatically. As such, it fits 1:1 onto the paper. Original Paper 90° Rotation and APS APS only in combination with 90° Rotation The "APS" feature can only be used in combination with the "90° Rotation" feature. 4-72 Di5510/Di7210 Basic Functions Combination: 90° Rotation and AMS The following situation occurs: G G 4 You copy an A4 original lengthwise. However, only A4 paper is loaded crosswise (R) in the copier. The copy image is rotated by 90° automatically.
