8. Finishing Mode
Instructions for Loading Originals for Finishing Mod
Note the correct direction of the originals if the copies are to be stapled either in the Sort-and-Staple or Manual Staple mode.
Using the Automatic/Duplexing Document Feeder
Load the originals crosswise in the Document Feeder. Ensure also that the stapling position is at th e rear left corner as indicated by the arrow. Correct: Originals loaded crosswise

Place the original, with its stapling position at the upper right corner as shown in the illustratio n. [. . . ] The room circuit breaker is open.
Plug the power cord into the power outlet. Close the room circuit breaker.
* If these procedures do not correct the problem, turn OFF the Power Switch, unplug the power cord
from the power outlet and contact your Technical Representative.
