Insert the document face down in the document feeder. 1 2 3 Press [SET]. DIAL REGISTRATION?s t YES / or 1-6 Press [5] on the numeric key pad and the desired one-touch key. -SELECT REGIST. Press [NO] to cancel the entry or press a one-touch key to store further transmissions. TX TIME= 12 : 30 OK=YES 4 -SELECT REGIST. KEY(COMPLETE=NO) After the described procedure is terminated, the batch transmission is stored under the selected one-touch key. You can delete the batch transmission by deleting the one-touch key. 4-30 Minoltafax 2800/3800 Send 4 Delete schedules This function enables you to delete programmed transmissions and data stored in the memory. If you stored more than one transmission, press [V/ PIN CODE] and [DELETE] to scroll through the entries. 4. 12 1 2 Press [SCHEDULE] on the control panel. JAN. FACE DOWN- Press [STOP] to delete the transmission. Press [JOURNAL] to display additional information. FACE DOWN- Minoltafax 2800/3800 4-31 4 Send 4-32 Minoltafax 2800/3800 Reception 5 5 5. 1 Reception Manual reception Basically, manual reception only makes sense if you are expecting voice calls on the same line. Because the machine has no telephone receiver a separate phone must be attached to the same telephone wall outlet. Default reception setting 1 2 Press [SET] and 3 times [V/PIN CODE]. RX OPERATION?YES / or 1-9 s t Press [7] on the numeric keypad, select the required setting using the arrow keys and press [YES]. *AUTO MANUAL -SELECT&PUSH"YES"- If you select AUTO, the system will answer the calls automatically after the set number of rings. If you select MANUAL, you have to take the receiver off the telephone, wait for the fax signal and press [START]. Only if you switch off the memory reception option and enter the correct password, will the fax message be printed out.
