Preparing the RD-175 Digital Camera 3. 1 Selecting the SCSI ID The RD-175 Digital Camera is set at the factory to SCSI ID 6 but may be set to another ID if necessary: Press the MODE key on the camera and keep it pressed. You have now set the SCSI ID. 10 RD-175 Digital Camera 3. 2 Setting the power supply for the terminator The RD-175 Digital Camera features only one SCSI port and is thus always the last device in the SCSI chain. The power supply for the terminator is provided by the computer if the computer is a desktop PC. If you use a laptop, please note the following information so that the power can be supplied to the terminator via the internal battery: Press the MODE key and keep it pressed.
