[. . . ] TX6U Wireless 433 MHz Temperature Sensor/Transmitter Instruction Manual QUICK SET-UP GUIDE Hint: Use good quality Alkaline Batteries and avoid rechargeable batteries. Place the batteries into the outdoor remote first then into the indoor station. [. . . ] The batteries will fit tightly (to avoid start-up problems make sure they do not spring free). Be sure battery cover is on securely. MOUNTING THE REMOTE TEMPERATURE SENSOR/TRANSMITTER The remote temperature sensor/transmitter can be mounted in two ways: · with the use of screws, or · using the adhesive tape. MOUNTING WITH SCREWS 1) Remove the mounting bracket from the remote temperature sensor/transmitter. Through the three screw holes of the bracket, mark the mounting surface with a pencil. MOUNTING WITH ADHESIVE TAPE 1) With a nonabrasive solution, clean and dry the back of the mounting bracket and the mounting surface to ensure a secure hold. Adhere the tape to the designated area on the back of the mounting bracket. Position the remote temperature sensor/transmitter in the desired location, ensuring that the weather station can receive the signal.
