[. . . ] This cellar uses superconductor refrigeration technology (no compressor) and is not designed for storage in hot areas like garages, warehouses or outdoors since it is designed to operate at a maximum of 30 degrees below the ambient temperature. Plug the cellar into an exclusive, properly installed-grounded wall outlet. Do not under any circumstances cut or remove the third (ground) prong from the power cord. Any questions concerning power and/or grounding should be directed toward a certified electrician or an authorized service center. [. . . ] If the ambient temperature is above or below recommended temperatures, the performance of the unit may be affected. For example, placing your unit in extreme cold or hot conditions may cause interior temperatures to fluctuate. The range of 8º-18ºC/46º-65ºF may not be reached. Temperature Ranges For Your cellar Temperature Range CONTROL PANEL 5 - 18º C 40 – 64º F You can select temperature display setting from Fahrenheit to Celsius degree by pushing this button. (Fahrenheit or Celsius indicator will appear in green color) The degrees will appear in blue color in the temperature display window. SETTING THE TEMPERATURE CONTROL Your cellar has been equipped with an “automatic” control panel lock, that will activate 12 seconds after the last time a button has been touched. Push the and button simultaneously for 3 seconds to unlock the control panel. You will hear a “BEEP” sound to alert you that the control is now active. You can set the temperature as you desire by pushing the or button on the control panel for each zone. The temperature that you desire to set will increase 1ºF or 1ºC if you push the button once, on the contrary the temperature will decrease 1ºF or 1ºC if you push the button once. Once the cellar is running for a few hours everything will be back to normal. €¢ If you are discarding the appliance, pull the plug out of the socket, cut the connection cable (as close to the appliance as you can) and remove the door to prevent children playing from suffering an electric shock or 18 from closing themselves inside it. €¢ If this appliance, featuring a magnetic door seals, is to replace an older appliance having a spring lock (latch) on the door or lid, be sure to make the spring lock unusable before you discard the old appliance. When disposing of the appliance, do so only at an authorized waste disposal centre. Refrigerant The refrigerant isobutene (R600a) is contained within the refrigerant circuit of the appliance, a natural gas with a high level of environmental compatibility, which is nevertheless flammable.
