Summary and Explanation OneTouch® SelectTM Control Solution contains a known amount of glucose that reacts with OneTouch® SelectTM Test Strips. Write the discard date (date opened plus three months) in the space provided on the vial label. ⷠDo Not use after the expiration or discard date, whichever comes first. M CAUTION: Do Not swallow control solution; it is not for human consumption. Do Not apply control solution to the skin or eyes as it may cause irritation. Storage and Handling Close the bottle tightly and store at room temperature below 86°F. Test Procedure Read the instructions carefully in your owner's booklet to perform the control solution test. Control solution tests must be done at room temperature (68­77°F). Make sure your meter, test strips, and control solution are at room temperature before testing. Discard the first drop of control solution you squeeze out and wipe the dispenser tip. Be sure that APPLY CONTROL appears on the meter display before applying control solution to the test strip.
