To start the tool, push the lock lever in the arrow direction and then pull the trigger. For continuous operation, push the lock lever in the arrow direction, pull the trigger and then push the lock lever further in the arrow direction. Important: Always be sure that the tool is switched off and unplugged before installing or removing the side grip. The side grip can be installed in any of three positions on the sides of the tool, whichever is convenient and keeps the guard properly positioned. Always hold the tool's switch handle and the side grip firmly with both hands during operation. The switch handle can be rotated to either 90° left or right to fit your work needs. Press the lock button and rotate the switch handle until the n mark on the lock button is aligned with that on the motor housing. Press the shaft lock to prevent spindle rotation when installing or removing accessories. When the resin insulating tip inside the carbon brush is exposed to contact the commutator, it will automatically shut off the motor.
