[. . . ] Press OK. 23 If a memory card is inserted you can delete only the films on the memory card. If the memory card is locked you cannot delete the films on the memory card. If the films you wish to delete are protected you will have to unlock them before deletion. Displaying thumbnails This function provides you with a more rapid overview of the films stored in the memory. Use the RIGHT/LEFT buttons to select the "thumbnail" option. Use the RIGHT/LEFT buttons or TELE/WIDE-ANGLE to select the film required. Press OK to play back the film. 24 Locking films This function enables you to protect individual films or all films from accidental deletion. Push the TELE/WIDE-ANGLE button towards "T" in order to lock/unlock all films. Push the TELE/WIDE-ANGLE button towards "W" in order to lock/unlock just one film. Press OK. Replaying films This function enables automatic repeated playback of individual films or all films. Use the RIGHT/LEFT buttons to select the "Replay one" option. Use the RIGHT/LEFT buttons to select the "Replay all" option. All the films available will be replayed. 25 Camera mode menu The "camera mode" menu contains the settings required for operating in digital camera mode: · · · · · · · · · · · · Resolution Exposure Two-in-one Photo frames Flash Self-timer Scharpness White balance Multi-snap Backlight Date Printing Night Mode To select a menu, press the RIGHT/LEFT buttons until the required menu is in the dark area. To open the required menu, press the OK button. 26 Resolution The following settings are available for photo quality: Setting High Standart Low Explanation High Resolution Standart Resolution Low Resolution The selected resolution will remain active until you select a different one, or until the camera is switched off. Connect your camera using an HDMI cable to your TV set with a digital HDMI input to view your photos in HD format. Exposure The camera automatically selects the correct exposure. In difficult lighting conditions you may achieve better results by adjusting the exposure manually. If you want to photograph someone with a sunset in the background, for example, you will need artificial overexposure. For overexposure select a setting in the positive range (+1. 0 EV, +0. 6 EV or +0. 3 EV). If you want artificial underexposure, select a setting in the negative range (­0. 3 EV, ­0. 6 EV or ­1. 0 EV). The setting will be retained until you select another one or switch the camera off. The factory setting is 0 EV. 27 Two-in-one This setting enables you to combine two photos to make one photo. Select this setting. The right half of the LC display will be dimmed. Press the photo release shutter. The "Two-in-One" setting remains active for one photograph at a time.
