November 2005 3:38 15 BEFORE FIRST USE · Before you use your new microwave with grill and hot air for the first time, please clean the appliance and all accessories to remove any possible production residues. · Remove the protective foil from the appliance and the control panel. · Clean all accessories in hot water with a mild detergent and dry them off. · Clean the appliance carefully inside and out with a damp cloth and then dry it off. Heat appliance while empty Before first use, the microwave must be heated up empty one time for cleaning before using it with food. · Turn on the appliance without any food and without accessories in hot air mode. To do this press the H o t a i r/ M i c r o + H o t ai r button and turn the dial right until the display shows 230° C. Then turn the dial right until a cooking time of 20:00 minutes is displayed. · After 20 minutes the appliance turns itself off automatically. · Remove the plug from the socket and then clean the appliance once more inside and out with a damp cloth and then dry it off. 15 10824 manual UK. book Seite 16 Freitag, 11. Do not remove the protective foil on the inside of the door or the card on the right of the cooking space otherwise microwaves could escape!if the door is crooked or bent, door seals and other seals are damaged, hinges and the closing mechanism are defective or loose, or if the interior of the appliance or the door are dented or damaged. In case of any kind of damage the appliance should not be connected to the mains. To set the clock proceed as follows: · Press the C lo c k /T i m e r . · Press the C lo c k /T i m e r button to confirm the entry for the hours.
