This appliance should only be used as designated and described in these instructions. If you pass on this microwave to a third party, please include these instructions. It should only be used for warming up appropriate foodstuffs in microwave-suitable containers and dishes. [. . . ] Heat appliance while empty Before using the microwave you must first heat it up whilst empty in order to remove remains left over from production. To do this, switch the device on in the Grill operational mode, without food and without accessories, as described in the following: · You will select the hot air operation with this. The device will switch off automatically after the process has finished. Remove the plug from the socket and then clean the appliance once more inside and out with a damp cloth and dry it off carefully. When you have heated the microwave once empty as stated above it may no longer be used without the roller ring and rotating plate inserted properly. The illustration opposite shows a running cooking programme 1 hour and 00 minutes long. The `H ' with a preceding number shows the cooking time in hours. The cooking time will be less than one hour if no number is displayed in front of the `H '. The maximum cooking time is 95 minutes in the case of each of these programmes. You will be able to use the grill supplied with the device in combination operation, as far as the food is suitable for this.
