Use the network adapter provided exclusively to do this. INSERT/REPLACE BATTERY Insert the accumulator pack supplied: 1 2 1. Push the battery cover to the side, so that the battery compartment is visible. If necessary, remove the battery from the protective plastic bag and insert it completely into the devices as in the illustration. Re-attach the battery cover. 15 CONNECT NETWORK ADAPTER /CHARGE BATTERY Connect the network adapter as illustrated: 1 3 2 Do not interrupt the charging process before the battery is completely charged, to ensure a long battery life. Press the Menu Button Menu will be faded out if you do not make any further selection for more than eight seconds. Move your finger/thumb up or down in the groove of the Scroll Area, to select a menu point. You will reach the higher level of the Menu in this way. BUTTON LOCKING The Jukebox is provided with button locking that prevents a function from being activated accidentally. This is practical if you are listening to music and transporting the Jukebox. There will be an indication in the display if button locking is activated. Push the button locking upwards to the `Hold' position, to activate the lock. The Jukebox cannot be switched on or off if button locking is activated!Push the button locking back again to the initial position to deactivate the block. 19 VOLUME CONTROL Regulate the volume during playback by touching the Scroll Area. Move your finger down, to reduce the volume. CONNECTING EARPHONES/AMPLIFIER The device is supplied with stereo earphones. Plug the jack plug (3. 5 mm) of the earphones into the earphones connection. You can also connect a cable (optional) to this connection for a connection to your stereo equipment. Attention: Using earphones at a high volume can lead to lasting hearing damage. Start the playback and increase the volume to the extent that is comfortable for you. 20 PLAYBACK Read how you transfer data to your Jukebox from Page 26. PLAYBACK Press the Play/Pause Button [ switched on. ] briefly, to play a title if the Jukebox is PAUSE Press the [ ] Button briefly, to pause playback at the position that has just been played. Press the button again to continue playback. SELECT TITLE(S) You can have your titles displayed in a structured way in the Main Menu by entering Browse.
