Remove the battery compartment cover by sliding it gently in the direction shown on the diagram. 2. Insert the batteries supplied (2 x batteries, type AAA) in the battery compartment of the mouse. Ensure that the battery poles correspond to the "+" and "-" markings. 3. Slide the battery compartment cover back on until it locks into place. Perform the Auto-Frequency-Recognition after you have changed the batteries (Page 12). Please read also the advices on page 3. BATTERY INDICATOR The battery indicator (Page 7) states the condition of the batteries. When the indicator lights up red the batteries are spent and a quick replacement should come to place. SETTING UP 8 POWER SAVING FUNCTION If the mouse is not used for more than a minute the power saving function comes into place. SETTING UP 11 UNINSTALLING THE DRIVER SOFTWARE In order to remove the device driver from your PC, use "Add or Remove Programs" in your Windows Control Panel. CONNECTING TO THE COMPUTER 1. Start the computer, if you have not done yet, and wait until the operating system has been fully loaded. The appropriate driver will be assigned to the mouse. AUTOMATIC FREQUENCY ADJUSTMENT In order to start using your mouse you need to synchronize the frequency from the receiver and the mouse. The Frequency Indicator will start flashing. 12 SETTING UP 2.
