Pendant ce temps, l'image se déplace un peu à la recherche de la meilleure position de restitution. Certains formats peu pratiques d'ordinateurs exigent un réglage manuel de la position (horizontale / verticale) et de la dimension de l'image. La fonction d'auto-réglage dépend beaucoup de la représentation de l'image. Une bonne solution consiste à représenter une image blanche couvrant toute la surface de l'écran (isomorphique).
