Unit mounting location Choose a mounting location where the unit will not interfere with the normal driving functions of the driver. Install the unit where it does not get in the driver´s way and cannot injure any passengers if there is sudden braking, such as an emergency stop. Installation If you want to install the car radio yourself, please read the advice for installation and connection in this manual. CD player The CD player is a Class 1 laser product. The unit is equipped with a safety system that prevents the emergence of dangerous laser beams during normal operation. AUTOMATIC MEMORY STORING AND PROGRAM SCANNING - Automatic Memory Storing Press the AMS button (15) for several seconds. The radio searches the current band and checks signal strengths until the band has been searched completely. The 6 strongest signal stations found are stored in the corresponding preset number buttons. - Program Scanning Press the AMS button (15) briefly to scan preset stations. If the unit finds stronger signal strength stations than those stored, it will store these stronger signal stations instead of the original stations. If the selected name is a directory, you can go into the selected directory by pressing the BND/LOUD (ENTER) button and continue to search the the MP3 file name in that directory by pressing the TUNE/ TRACK/ SKIP-/+ buttons.
