CAUTION 1. 4 DDC The monitor includes the DDC1 and DDC2B feature more commonly known as "Plug & Play". DDC (Display Data Channel) is a communication channel over which the monitor automatically informs the computer system about its capabilities (e. g. DDC is routed through previously unused pins of the 15-pin VGA connector. The system will perform "Plug and Play" feature if both, monitor and computer, implement the DDC protocol. When a Plug & Play computer starts, it identifies the monitor and loads the appropriate driver automatically. If the computer does not have the driver installed, a dialog box will appear asking where the information can be found.
