Please read this manual carefully before using your Mitsubishi plasma monitor and keep the manual handy for future reference.
Warnings and Safety Precaution
The Mitsubishi plasma monitor is designed and manufactured to provide long, trouble-free service. Never use solvents such as alcohol or thinner to clean the panel surface. Although Mitsubishi produces the plasma display panels with more than 99. 99 percent active cells, there may be some cells that do not produce light or remain lit. For operating safety and to avoid damage to the unit, read carefully and observe the following instructions. [. . . ] Restoring the factory default settings To restore the original factory settings, go back to the MAIN MENU. Note that this also restores other settings to the factory defaults.

Setting MONITORLINK (M-LINK) ADJ. When the picture input from the MONITORLINK input terminal is distorted, select the most appropriate setting from among "1", "2", and "3".

Reducing uneven aging of the screen The brightness of the screen, the position of the picture, positive/negative mode and screen wiper are adjusted to reduce uneven phosphor aging of the screen.
Example: Setting "PLE" to "LOCK" Press the MENU/ENTER button on the remote control to display the MAIN MENU on the screen, then proceed as follows. Use the and buttons to select "FUNCTION", then press the MENU/ENTER button. Use the and buttons to select "LONG LIFE", then press the MENU/ENTER button.
