[. . . ] Before attaching or removing the adapter, always make sure that the camera is turned off and that the camera lens is stowed. 4 Pull the base of the adapter towards you, and attach it around the base of the camera (Figure 4). 5 Pull the upper part of the adapter down, so that it fits over the camera on either side of the viewfinder (Figure 5). 6 Insert the screw*, included with the adapter, into the tripod socket, and secure the adapter (Figure 6). *To prevent the screw from being lost, it can be tied to the bottom of the adapter with some string (not included). When attaching or removing the adapter, always make sure that the camera is turned off and that the camera lens is not extended. Attach only those lens converters listed below: Wideangle converter WC-24 Wideangle converter WC-E63 Telephoto converter TC-E2 Do not attempt to attach any other lens converters. Do not walk holding the camera by the camera strap with the adapter still attached to the camera.
