Introduction The Nokia Bluetooth Headset BH101 allows you to make and receive calls while on the move. You can use the headset with compatible phones that support Bluetooth wireless technology. [. . . ] The fully charged battery has power for up to 8 hours of talk time or up to 180 hours of standby time. However, the talk and standby times may vary with different compatible Bluetooth devices, usage settings, usage styles, and environments. When battery power is low, the headset beeps once every minute and the red indicator light flashes slowly. Switch on or off To switch on, press and hold the multifunction key for about 5 seconds. To switch off, press and hold the multifunction key (for about 5 seconds) until the headset beeps and the red indicator light flashes once. Pair the headset 1. Ensure that your phone is switched on and the headset is switched off. Press and hold the multifunction key (for about 8 seconds) until the green indicator light starts to flash quickly. © 2007 Nokia. Activate the Bluetooth feature on the phone, and set the phone to search for Bluetooth devices. Enter the passcode 0000 to pair and connect the headset to your phone. In some phones, you may need to make the connection separately after pairing. If the pairing is successful, the headset appears in the phone menu where you can view the currently paired Bluetooth devices. When the headset is connected to your phone and is ready for use, the green indicator light flashes slowly. Basic use Place the headset on the ear The headset is ready to be used on the right ear. Slide the earloop over your ear (11), and gently push the earpiece into your ear. All rights reserved. Call handling To make a call, use your phone in the normal way when the headset is connected to your phone. If your phone supports last number redialling with the headset, press the multifunction key twice while no call is in progress. If your phone supports voice dialling with the headset, press and hold the multifunction key for about 2 to 3 seconds until the phone start voice dialling, and proceed as described in the user guide of the phone. To adjust the headset volume during a call, press either volume key. To switch the call between the headset and a compatible phone, press and hold the multifunction key for about 2 to 3 seconds. Clear settings or reset To delete the pairings from the headset, switch on the headset, and press and hold the multifunction key and the volume up key for about 5 seconds until the indicator light alternates between red and green.
