Introduction The Nokia Bluetooth Headset BH-204 allows you to make and receive calls while on the move. [. . . ] For availability of approved enhancements, please check with your dealer. When you disconnect the power cord of any enhancement, grasp and pull the plug, not the cord. Charge the battery The headset has an internal, nonremovable, rechargeable battery. Do not attempt to remove the battery Chargers Check the model number of any charger before using it with this device. The fully charged battery has power for up to 10 hours of talk time or up to 240 hours of standby time. However, the talk and standby times may vary when used with different mobile phones or other compatible Bluetooth devices, usage settings, usage styles, and environments. When battery power is low, the indicator light flashes quickly and the headset beeps every 20 seconds. Switch the headset on or off To switch on, press and hold the multifunction key until the headset beeps and the blue indicator light is displayed. To switch off, press and hold the multifunction key until the headset beeps and the red indicator light is displayed briefly. Pair the headset 1. Press and hold the volume up (+) key and the volume down (-) key at the same time until the blue and red indicator lights start to alternate. ENGLISH 3. Activate the Bluetooth feature on the phone, and set the phone to search for Bluetooth devices. Enter the passcode 0000 to pair and connect the headset to your phone. In some phones you may need to make the connection separately after pairing. If the pairing is successful, the headset beeps once and appears in the phone menu where you can view the currently paired Bluetooth devices. The headset is now ready for use. Basic use Wear the headset Slide the earloop behind your ear, and point the headset toward your mouth. To use the headset on the left ear, gently detach (7), flip, and attach (8) the earloop. If your phone supports last number redialing with the headset, press and hold the volume up key when no call is in progress. If your phone supports voice dialing with the headset, press and hold the volume down key when no call in progress, and proceed as described in the user guide of your phone. Call handling To make a call, use your phone in the normal way when the headset is connected to your phone. ENGLISH To answer or end a call, press the multifunction key. To mute or unmute the microphone during a call, press and hold the multifunction key and the volume up key at the same time. To switch the call between the headset and your compatible phone, press and hold the multifunction key and the volume down key at the same time. [. . . ] Do not dispose as household waste.
