SWITCH ON SAFELY Do not switch the device on when wireless phone use is prohibited or when it may cause interference or danger. INTERFERENCE All wireless devices may be susceptible to interference, which could affect performance. Switch the device off in aircraft, near medical equipment, fuel, chemicals, or blasting areas. Some attachments may not be compatible with your device, and cannot be displayed on your device. To save the attachment to your device, select Save. Image and video 51 Image and video Capture images Activate the camera Press the capture key; or, if in video mode, scroll left or right. Zoom in or out In image mode, scroll up and down, or use the volume keys. Display images after capture Select Options > Settings > Photo preview time and the preview time. Your device supports an image capture resolution of up to 1536x2048 pixels. Record video clips Activate video mode Press and hold the capture key, or, if in image mode, scroll left or right. Pause or resume recording Select Pause or Continue. 52 Image and video Alternatively, press the capture key. In image or video mode, select Options and from the following: Self-timer -- Use the self-timer. Effects -- Apply different effects (for example, greyscale and false colour) to the captured image. Landscape format or Portrait format -- Select the orientation of the camera. Settings -- Modify other camera and video settings, and select where to save images and video clips. Gallery Manage images, video clips, music files, themes, graphics, tones, recordings, and received files. These files are stored in the device memory or on a memory card and may be arranged in folders. Select from the following: Image and video 53 All photos -- View images in a thumbnail grid. If you remove an album, the images inside the album are not deleted from the memory. View a slide show A slide show uses the images of the currently selected folder or album. Select Start slide show. Edit images You can, for example, rotate, flip, crop, and adjust the brightness, contrast, and colours of images.
