Please read this manual thoroughly before making connections and turning on the power. The clock display may also be switched to a AM/PM display. The playback timer and recording timer will not function if connections are incomplete SLEEP RETURN TV MUTING REPEAT TV VOL A-B STEP/ SLOW TUNING TUNER PRESET MODE MD/ CDR / TAPE SLEEP DIMMER DISPLAY CLOCK MUTING VOLUME Types of timers SLEEP: Puts the system into standby mode at the preset time. The sleep timer is activated by the SLEEP button. Using the Sleep Timer SLEEP (Playback) ONCE: Activates only once after setting. "SLEEP 90min" appears in the multipurpose display for about 5 seconds, which means the unit will turn off and enter standby mode in 90 minutes. Also the SLEEP indicator is lit in the display while the sleep timer is On. Each press of the SLEEP button makes the remaining time shorter by 10 minutes. Press the Cursor 5/ buttons to adjust the time in 1 minute intervals. Checking the remaining time Press SLEEP while the Sleep Timer is On. If you press SLEEP while the remaining time is displayed, the remaining time is reduced by 10 minutes. I About the timer display When pressing TIMER repeatedly to display the various times, a lit TIMER indicator means that the time is set. " Hint The TIMER indicator at the top of the display lights up when the respective timer is set.
