(Press and hold. ) Automatic spacing If you record a disc onto tape with an insufficient time space between tracks, the tape deck will not be able to perform blank search operations on the tape correctly. Such a search mistake of the deck can be prevented by pressing the autoSPACE button to insert spaces of about 4 seconds between the tracks before recording.
