[. . . ] The crossover frequency can be changed in the "Crossover (Crossover Frequency)" ( 29). Note · Speaker Configuration, Crossover Frequency, and Double Bass settings cannot be changed while headphones are connected, or "Audio TV OUT" setting is set to "On" ( 31) or speaker set B is on. Choose the setting suitable for the speaker. Note · For a more accurate setting, look up the frequency response in the manuals supplied with your speakers and set accordingly. · Choose a higher crossover frequency if you want more sound from your subwoofer. Double Bass Note · This function can be set only if the "Subwoofer" setting is set to "Yes", and the "Front" setting is set to "Large" ( 29). Subwoofer Yes: Select if a subwoofer is connected. Front Small: Large: Select based on the cone diameter. Note · If the "Subwoofer" setting is set to "No", this setting is fixed at "Large" and does not appear. With the Double Bass function, you can boost bass output by feeding bass sounds from the front left, right, and center channels to the subwoofer. Off: Double Bass function off. Sp Distance (Speaker Distance) Menu Sp Distance Center*1*2, Surround*1*2 Small: Large: Select based on the cone diameter. None: Select if no speaker is connected. Note *1 *2 Here you can specify the distance from each speaker to the listening position so that the sound from each speaker arrives at the listener's ears as the sound designer intended. Mono This setting specifies the channel to be used for playing any 2-channel digital source such as Dolby Digital, or 2channel analog/PCM source in the Mono listening mode. Right: Only the right channel is output. Level Cal (Level Calibration) Menu Level Cal Dolby Settings PLII Music (2ch Input) These settings apply to only 2-channel stereo sources. With this setting, you can broaden the width of the front stereo image when using the Dolby Pro Logic II Music listening mode. Dimension ­3 to 0 to +3 With this setting, you can move the sound field forward or backward when using the Dolby Pro Logic II Music listening mode. If the stereo image feels too wide, or there's too much surround sound, move the sound field forward to improve the balance. Conversely, if the stereo image feels like it's in mono, or there's not enough surround sound, move it backward. Center Width 0 to 3 to 7 With this setting, you can adjust the width of the sound from the center speaker when using the Dolby Pro Logic II Music listening mode. Normally, if you're using a center speaker, the center channel sound is output by only the center speaker. (If you're not using a center speaker, the center channel sound will be distributed to the front left and right speakers to create a phantom center). This setting controls the front left, right, and center mix, allowing you to adjust the weight of the center channel sound. Here you can adjust the level of each speaker with the built-in test tone so that the volume of each speaker is the same at the listening position. [. . . ] Connect the audio output from the TV to the OPTICAL IN 2 jack of the AV receiver using an optical digital cable. Note · When the audio return channel (ARC) function is used with TV for HDMI 1. 4, it should not be this connection ( 32). Confirm the settings. Turn off the power of the TV, and confirm that the power of the connected components is turned off automatically with the link operation. Start playback of the Blu-ray Disc/DVD player/ recorder, and confirm the following. · The power of the AV receiver is turned on automatically, and input with the Blu-ray Disc/DVD player/recorder connected is selected.
