Auto memory This convenient function allows FM stations to easily be preset. Hold down the MEMORY button for 2 or 3 seconds until "AUTO" begins flashing. · The frequency is displayed and automatically begins increasing when the auto memory mode is entered. · When an FM station is tuned in, it is automatically entered in the memory. When the number of stations exceeds 30, the stations, beginning with the one with the weakest reception, are replaced by the new stations in the memory. · To select a preset FM station, use the TUNING/PRESET ® button, the TUNING/PRESET button or the number buttons. (Refer to page 17. ) · FM stations that were previously preset will be replaced by the new preset stations when the auto memory operation is executed.

For example to enter a station at 98. 00MHz (FM) into number 2 of the preset memory. By holding down either TUNING/ PRESET ® button (for a second or more), the auto tuning system will work and the frequency display automatically stops when a station is tuned in. To tune in the frequency better, press the TUNING/ PRESET ® or TUNING/PRESET button while the frequency flashes on the display. After pressing the MEMORY button, press the TUNING/PRESET ® button to increase the station number or press the TUNING/PRESET button to decrease the station number. · Press the MEMORY button within 8 seconds, or else the memory mode will be cancelled. Troubleshooting Guide
If the system does not work properly, please refer to this table for troubleshooting hints. If there is no improvement in the condition, even after troubleshooting, or symptoms other than those listed exist, please disconnect your unit from the wall outlet and contact your ONKYO authorized service station. · Please make sure that the system has been connected properly, otherwise it cannot operate correctly. · This stereo system contains a sensitive microcomputer, which under certain circumstances might fail to operate due to excessive noise interference.
