Keep the sound volume at an appropriate level. Keep the volume level low enough to be aware of road and traffic conditions while driving. Take care not to damage the leads. Please understand if RDS service is not available in your area, the following service is not available, either. ¡ Setting to TA on with the unit in another mode, it will automatically switch to radio mode and output the traffic announcement when the traffic announcement begins. (TA Standby Mode) Audio Settings TA On/Off TA Volume The TA volume can be adjusted independently during TA is broadcasting. Wait until the dew disappears before turning on the unit. Radio Frequent noise PTY On/Off Holding down [DISP] (PTY) for more than 2 seconds toggles PTY mode on and off. FM Monaural FM Noise is significantly decreased when weak signals are received from an FM broadcast station. (Default: OFF) 3 Turn [VOL] clockwise or counterclockwise to adjust. MONO OFF PS (Programme Service Name) As well as the frequency, the name of the broadcast station appears. Programme Search by PTY Programs can be searched for by use of PTY that has been originally preset. Preset data deleted w q : Up w : Down q TUNE / TRACK SEL SEL EON (Enhanced Other Network) RDS information is updated constantly in response to the current position.
