When recording a video clip, the flash cannot be used. If the write speed of your SD/SDHC memory card is not fast enough for recording video clips in the currently selected size, the video recording will stop. The maximum recordable time for one continuous video clip is 00:59:59.

Playing Back Video Clips
You can play back recorded video clips on the camera. Press the / buttons during playback allows fast forward play / fast reverse play. To cancel pause, press the SHUTTER button again.

Video clips cannot be displayed rotated or enlarged. This camera does not have a built-in speaker so that you can not play back sound with the camera. The sound recorded with video clips can only be played back on computers. QuickTime basic player is available free of charge, compatible with Mac and Windows-computers and can be downloaded from the Apple web site at www. apple. com. For help using QuickTime Player usage, please refer to the QuickTime on-line help for more information.

PLAYBACK MODE
Playing Back Still Images
You can play back the still images on the LCD monitor. The images can be displayed in reverse or forward sequence with the / buttons. To view different portion of the images, Press 2. 0X SHUTTER once and press the / / / button to adjust the display area. Press the SHUTTER button again to return the normal playback view of the last image.

An [ ] icon is displayed with the video data. The magnification factors range from 1x to 4x (within 4 stages: 1. 0x, 2. 0x, 3. 0x, and 4. 0x).

Thumbnail Display
This function allows you to view 9 thumbnail images on the LCD display simultaneously so you may search for a particular image. For recorded video clips, the video playback mode icon [ ] will be displayed. Use the / / / button to move the cursor to select the image to be displayed at regular size. Press the SHUTTER button to display the selected image on full screen.
Slideshow Display
The slideshow function enables you to playback your still images automatically in order one image at a time. Select [Slide Show] with the / buttons, then press the SHUTTER button. Select the desired interval time with the / buttons, and press the SHUTTER button. The image is displayed on screen when you press the SHUTTER button.
The Auto Off function does not operate during slide show. Video files are displayed first frame image, and they are not played back.

Protecting Images
Set the data to read-only to prevent images from being erased by mistake. Select the image in the nine thumbnail that you want to protect with the / / /. [. . . ] The maximum recordable time for one continuous video clip is 00:59:59.

Troubleshooting
Refer to the symptoms and solutions listed below before sending the camera for repairs. Please use only Alkaline or Ni-MH rechargeable batteries.
The batteries or camera feels warm. The start-up screen blinks after powering up.
Long period of continuous use of the camera or the flash. Press the shutter button all the way down.
Even if I press the shutter button, the camera does not take a picture.
The internal memory or memory card does not have any free capacity. [. . . ]
