However, if this happens unplug the appliance first and then take out the jammed bread slice. · The housing of the toaster will become very hot during use especially in the area of the toaster slots. · Do not insert fingers or metal objects like knives or forks into the bread slots. · Keep the appliance away from the wall, curtain and combustible material during use. Cleaning · · Before cleaning, switch off and unplug the appliance and let it cool down. Remove the crumbs from the browning slots and grids with the appliance not tilted. Then slide out the crumb tray, clean it and place back into the appliance. Outside cleaning: Clean the outside of the appliance gently with a damp and soft cloth, and then wipe it with a dry cloth. Never use steel wire, abrasive cloth and other caustic agents, as they will damage the finish of the appliance. Maintenance Do not dismantle the appliance or change its cord yourself.
