Your new Remington® MicroFlex® TCTTM is the only Rotary Shaver with Total Closeness TechnologyTM(TCTTM). The MicroFlex® TCTTM has more blades, RPM's and flexing head action* than any rotary, to shave your entire face including the tough spots like your neck and around your chin. * More flexing head action as measured by vertical movement at the center of head. [. . . ] Here are some signs of head and cutter wear, indicating that replacement is needed. (NOTE:R-9300/-9350/R-TCT cutter icon, R-9200 & R-9250- the yellow LED- will blink when it is time to replace the cutters. ) s Open the hairpocket by squeezing on both buttons and rotating awa y from the body of the shaver. You may blow out the stubble thoroughly, or rinse the shaver head in water. s At Least Once a Week: For more complete cleaning, remove the cutter retainer assembly from the hairpocket by turning the center knob approximately 1/4 turn counter clockwise. Hold cutter retainer assembly as shown, and remove head by turning approximately 1/8 turn in the direction shown. Reassemble head to cutter retainer assembly by aligning and turn ing head 1/8 turn in the opposite direction. Clean each head and cutter set one at a time to prevent mixing cutter components. (These should be kept as sets). After cleaning, place cutter retainer assembly in the hairpocket, and secure by turning center knob approximately 1/4 turn clockwise. Do not use any aggressive cleansing agent as this may destroy the shaver coatings. Hairpocket Head Cutter Irritation: As the heads get excessively worn there may be some skin irritation. When the cutters wear you may feel a sense of "pulling"and a loss of closeness when you shave. This is an indication that it is time to replace your heads and cutters. Charging Prior to using your shaver for the first time, put it on charge for 24 hours. s Connect the cord to the shaver and then the charging adapter to the electric outlet. s Your shaver cannot be overcharged, so you can leave it plugged in and charging between shaves. s The R-9100/-9200/-9300/-9250/-9350/R-TCT come with a special feature that allows you to run the shaver directly off the cord. Your shaver will not recharge while you are shaving, so after shaving directly from the cord, turn the unit off and set aside to charge. s The R-9100/-9200/-9300/-9250/-9350/R-TCT will provide up to two weeks worth of shaving after a one hour charge or a single shave after five minutes of charging. Model R-9100 has a green indicator light to show whether the shaver is either fully charged or charging. A red low-battery indicator illuminates to show when the shaver needs recharging. This also indicates approximately 5 minutes of shaving time left when indicator first comes on. Model R-9200/-9250 features a green lighted fuel gauge that displays the amount of charge remaining in 20% increments. When only 20% of the charge remains, the recharge red warning light illuminates. Model R-9300/-9350/R-TCT has an LCD display numeric indicator to show shaver charge status in minutes remaining.
