Likewise, remember the weight of the amplifier when you select an installation location. Make sure that the shelf or cabinet can support its considerable bulk. This protection is independent for each channel and is indicated by the front panel Protection LED. Should a faulty condition arise, the amplifier channel at fault will stop playing and the Protection LED on the front panel will light. If you are attaching bare wires directly to the speaker connectors, separate the wire conductors and strip back the insulation from the end of each conductor.
