Find a Scene from a Video CD/SVCD Menu RETURN Button Some Video CD/SVCD discs have a feature called PBC (PlayBack Control) which provides a menu system similar to the DVD menus. With a PBC-enabled disc in the player, the PBC menu appears on the TV screen automatically when the PLAY button is pressed. The following display window appears on the TV screen, showing the available selections. Entering a Scene Number NUMERIC Buttons +10 Button Another method of locating a scene on the disc is to enter the number of the scene using the NUMERIC buttons on the remote. On DVD Video, DVD Audio, and Audio CD discs, this direct access feature is available at any time when the disc is stopped or during playback (except when a menu screen is already displayed on the TV screen). On Video CD and SVCD discs, this feature is available when the disc is stopped or during playback with the PCB feature disabled. To select a Title/Group/Track number: Enter the desired number using the NUMERIC buttons on the remote. These menus may include information about each scene, such as movie names, song titles, artist information. A top menu typically shows the highest level of organization on a disc: Titles for a DVD Video disc or Groups for a DVD Audio Disc. Other menus may show additional selections, such as individual scenes. To make selections from a disc menu when a DVD disc is loaded: · Press the TOP MENU or MENU button on the remote. The following display window appears on the TV screen, showing the available selections. · Press the NUMERIC buttons to select a scene. · Press the RETURN button on the remote to display the menu again.
