[. . . ] A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce risks of tangling or tripping over a longer cord. B Longer extension cords are available and may be used if care is exercised in their use. [. . . ] When the machine operates for the first time and when all the water has been dispensed, the machine circuit needs priming. Close the "hot water/steam" knob (4) by turning it clockwise. Before brewing coffee, water and steam, please wait for lights 15 and 16 to be permanently on. Note: if priming is not completed, the 4 buttons will keep on flashing. Using ground coffee 8A) - Insert the adapter (12) into the pressurized portafilter (13), then insert the filter (11). 12) - Turn the portafilter from left to right until it locks in place. Water will spill out of the pressurized portafilter (this has to be done only for the first coffee). 16) - Remove the portafilter from the machine by turning it to the left and pour out any water left.
