Put the ice cubes into the jug, but do not fill over the 750 ml mark, and switch the appliance on. Once the ice cubes are crushed to the desired size, switch the appliance off and take out the ice. Operation - Fit the blender jug to the motor housing with its handle on the right and lock it by turning anti-clockwise into the operation position. To avoid possible foaming or spilling when processing foamable or thin liquids such as milk, do not fill the jug over the 1250 ml mark. To add ingredients during operation, the stopper in the centre of the lid can be removed by turning it in an anti-clockwise direction and then lifting it off. Do not put any objects into the blender jug while the appliance is operating. - Insert the plug into the wall outlet and use the control switch to select the required power setting. Depending on the food to be processed, the appliance may also be operated for short periods of time with the pulse setting "P". - After using the blender, switch off and remove the plug from the wall socket. Wait until the motor has come to a complete standstill before removing the blender jug. To remove the jug, turn in the opposite direction from that described in the assembly instructions. General Care and Cleaning Always remove the plug from the wall socket before cleaning the appliance. To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not clean the motor housing or the power cord with water and do not immerse them in water. Do not use abrasives, harsh cleaning solutions or hard brushes for cleaning, and do not clean in a dish-washer.
