[. . . ] Can not copy or print. " appears in the display, the toner cartridge must be replaced before copying can be resumed. NOTE: During a long copy run of a dark original, the message "Toner replenishment in progress. " may appear, even though there is toner remaining and the copier will suspend the copying job whilst it replenishes its toner supply. This can take up to 2 minutes after which the START ( ) key indicator will light up. Press the START ( ) key to resume copying. For best copying results, be sure to use only SHARP products. The package of SHARP toner has the Genuine Supplies label. GENUINE SUPPLIES 1 Gently open the front cover. 2 GENERAL INFORMATION Push the toner cartridge lock release lever and pull the toner cartridge out. NOTE: After removing the toner cartridge, do not shake it or tap on it. Put the old cartridge immediately in the bag contained in the box of the new cartridge. 84 TONER CARTRIDGE REPLACEMENT 3 Remove the new toner cartridge from the bag. Grasp the cartridge on both sides and shake it horizontally approximately 20 times. After shaking the cartridge, remove the tape. NOTE: Grasp the grip when holding the cartridge. Be sure to only shake the cartridge before the tape is removed. Approx. 20 times Shutter Tape 4 Gently insert the toner cartridge along the guides until it clicks in place while pushing the lock release lever. NOTE: If dirt or dust is adhered to the toner cartridge, remove it before installing the cartridge. 5 Remove the tape from the shutter.
