[. . . ] This copier/printer is equipped with a hard disk drive that stores copying and printing data. When a copying or printing job is complete, the data stored on the hard disk will not be immediately cleared. [. . . ] These two programs are included in Copier key operator programs under the Other Function Settings category. For using the key operator programs, see the copier operation manual, key operator's guide. If this program is enabled, copy and print data will be cleared immediately after either a copying job or a printing job is completed. To set the HDD-data auto clear function, press the "AUTO CLEAR AT JOB END" box to display a check mark. To cancel the HDD-data auto clear function, press the checked box again to clear the mark. NOTES While data is being cleared, no other operations will be accepted. If this program is enabled, the confidential print feature will be disabled and any confidential print data received will be canceled and not printed. Also, when this program is enabled, any tandem print data will be printed only on the main printer. Under the following conditions, copy or print data will remain on the hard disk until the job in progress is complete. Note that the data will be cleared after the job is complete or canceled. [. . . ] This program can be executed even if the HDD-data auto clear function has not been enabled. If the power switch is turned off while data is being cleared, some data will remain on the hard disk. [. . . ]
