Auto power on function: When you press any of the following buttons, the unit turns on. iPod button (main unit): The unit turns on and the iPod function is activated. / button (main unit and remote control): The unit turns on and playback of the last function will start (iPod, TUNER, AUX). iPod adaptor connection Choose the iPod adaptor that fits your iPod. If your iPod is not mentioned below, an iPod adaptor may have been included with your iPod unit. System on operation When the main unit is powered on, the iPod unit will automatically power on when docked in the unit (including alarm function). System off (stand-by operation) When the main unit is turned to stand-by mode, the docked iPod unit will automatically turn to stand-by mode (including alarm and sleep function). iPod playback detection function Once play button on iPod unit is pressed, the unit will automatically change to iPod function overriding the previous function selected. Caution: Unplug all accessories for the iPod before inserting it into the iPod dock. Pause Press in the playback mode. Track up/ down Fast forward/ reverse Press in the playback or pause mode. If you press the button in the pause mode, press the / button to start the desired track. ____ DISPLAY iPod Display iPod back light ON. Repeat ____ PLAY MODE Press to toggle repeat mode. Shuffle ____ PLAY MODE Press and hold down to toggle shuffle mode. 16 Listening to the radio Tuning DK-A1 DK-A1BK 1 2 3 iPod AUX TUNER CLOCK SNOOZE DIMMER ALARM ON/OFF Press the ON/STAND-BY button to turn the power on.
