[. . . ] Remove the small cover on the left side of the rear cover, and then remove the screw underneath. [. . . ] ) Insert your left index finger in between the cover and the machine as shown, and then close the print compartment cover. With your index finger still inserted, grasp both sides of the cover and pull it off. Fold the cable guide in half and snap the two small post holes in the top edge onto the posts on the bottom edge, using a flat-blade screwdriver or similar tool to support the cable guide from the bottom. Insert the 15-pin cable through the ferrite core, and then connect the cable to the connectors on the machine and the cassette as shown. Replace the right side cover on the machine, inserting the tabs into the holes. Attach the longer cassette cover to the right side of the cassette, inserting the tabs into the holes (first top, then bottom). Attach the support plate to the left side of the machine, inserting the top edges of the plate under the machine housing. Use 6 mm screws for the holes marked with "A", and 10 mm screws for the holes marked with "P". [. . . ] Attach the shorter cassette cover to the left side of the cassette, inserting the tabs into the holes (first top, then bottom). [. . . ]
