[. . . ] Holiday mode settings: The appliance works in energy saving mode (see "Energy saving mode", page 11); The interior illumination is switched off; the "Super freeze" function is ended (if activated). The first menu (temperature unit) is displayed. l l Press setup button . Press the selection button , until ( &( and the current setting (H/I) is displayed. To switch the holiday mode on:4. l l Press the + or setting button in order to switch between degrees Fahrenheit (F) and degrees Celsius (C). The set temperature is displayed again in the fascia. l l Press the + or setting button, in order to reset the setting. The symbol appears in the fascia under the eco-temperature preset at the factory. To switch the holiday mode off: l l Press Holiday button . Language setting When the appliance is operated, all messages are displayed in fascia in English. Alternatively, the display languages can be selected corresponding to the table above. This function is then ended: by switching the eco function off in the setup mode; by activating the "Super freeze" function by changing the target temperature of the appliance; by switching the appliance off using the on/off button . The previous settings and temperature values are once again activated. l l Press setup button . The set temperature is displayed again in the fascia. 11 Sabbatical mode Sabbatical mode settings: the "Super freeze" function is ended (if activated); the accoustic signal is switched off when the button is actuated (if activated); The interior illumination is switched off; the background illumination of the fascia is switched off. Freezing and storing food Purchasing deep-frozen food When purchasing deep-frozen food, comply with the following: Check that the packaging is not damaged. Use the deep-frozen food before the sell-by date runs out Do not refreeze thawed food. Exception: If you use the food to make a ready meal (boiling or frying), you can refreeze this ready meal. How to wrap food correctly: l l l l Place the food in the wrapping. To avoid splashes bring receptacles as close as possible to the discharge opening when removing water and ice. Crushed ice request button. For switching the agitation function on and off. Switch on the ice maker l Make sure that ice maker container is its place and locked into position. Lock button for the ice and water maker control panel (childproof lock). The buttons on the control panel are illuminated. Note: Release the ice dispensing button, when the receptacle is filled approx halfway. Ice in the discharge may cause the receptacle to overflow or block the discharge. Tip: The water from the water dispenser is cooled to a palatable temperature. If you would like the water colder, place ice cubes in the glass before dispensing the water. Removing and cleaning the ice cube container If ice cubes have not been dispensed for a prolonged period, they will shrink, have a stale taste and stick together. Detach the rest in order to place larger receptacles below the discharge opening. l Press the request ice cubes button. or 14 Locking the ice and water dispenser In order to secure the ice and water dispenser against unintentional use activate the childproof lock. Noises which can be easily rectified The appliance is not level Allign the appliance with the aid of a spirit level. Drawers, baskets or storage areas are loose or sticking Please check the removable parts and, if required, reinsert them. [. . . ] The water pressure must be between 1. 72 bar and 8. 25 bar so that the appliance works properly. Temperature in the freezer space should lie between 17 and 18 C, adjust where necessary.
