When the user resets the system to the default manufacturing settings, the operational mode also reverts to AP mode. In the AP mode, the system functions as a standard AP, where wireless clients connected to the AP can then connect to other wireless clients or to the wired network. For example, when traveling to a hotel that has high speed internet access, the user can connect to the Internet through the AP which is connected to an Ethernet cable in the room.
