Install the adapter in the desired drive bay 2 by sliding it into the front of the drive cage; the drivelock automatically secures the adapter when it snaps into place. If the computer is running a preinstalled operating system supplied by Compaq, you can insert or remove any drive except a hard drive while the computer is on, off, or in Standby.
