Viewing the wide-screen picture formats
You can view 480i, 480p, 720p, and 1080i format programs in a variety of picture sizes--NATURAL, TheaterWide 1, TheaterWide 2, TheaterWide 3, and FULL. The way the image displays in any of the picture sizes will vary depending on the format of the program you are viewing. Select the picture size that displays the current program the way that looks best to you.

Using the AUTO ASPECT feature When the AUTO ASPECT feature is set to on and the TV receives a 480i signal, the picture size is automatically selected (as described in the following table).

Setting the HDMI audio mode

Using the gray screen function
With the gray screen function ON, the screen will automatically turn gray and the sound will be muted when no signal is being received. Press MENU, and then press x or · until the FUNCTION menu appears. Press x or · to select ON.
