Turn the thermostat knob (5): • toward low numbers if the temperature inside the compartement is too low. • towards high numbers to obtain colder internal temperatures How to freeze fresh food The appliance, marked by the symbol, allows freezing of fresh food. The quantity of fresh food which can be frozen at an ambient temperature of +25°C in 24 hours is stated on the rating plate. How to operate Adjust the thermostat knob (5) to position 2 - 3 ቢ If your appliance is provide with a yellow pilot lamp freeze button (4) press it (yellow lamp alight) to improve the freezing process and to ensure the max. Freezing capacity indicated on the rating plate, as well as to avoid a fall in temperature in the refrigerator compartment during the freezing process. If it bulges, sags or has spots of moisture on it, it may not have been kept cold enough and the contents may have lost their original quality. Important • Any food, even if partially thawed, cannot be refrozen but must be eaten within 24 hours. • Any appreciable rise in temperature of frozen foods may shorten the storage life indicated on the package. • Always follow instructions on the package to store frozen food. Production of ice cubes Fill 3/4 the ice cube trays with water and place them in the freezing compartment or on the tray (if provided).
