When used with an X10 security system or the SM10E, the Powerhorn will trip a few seconds after the alarm trips and continues to sound until 4 seconds after the alarm stops or is disarmed. You can also trip the Powerhorn from any other X10 controller, which is useful in panic situations. It can be set to respond to any of the 256 X10 codes available (16 House codes x 16 Unit Codes). You simply press All Lights On followed by All Units Off repeatedly or press the unit code corresponding to the number set on the PH10E then press On, then Off repeatedly. This will trigger the Powerhorn after about two ON-OFF sequences and will continue as long as you keep repeating the sequence.
