The installation must be completely in accordance with local regulations, ordinances and standards. You may absolutely not connect the device if the power supply is not earthed. The plug must always be easily accessible when the device is connected. [. . . ] Open the cover on the back of the remote control Insert the batteries, ensuring that the + and ­ poles are positioned correctly. It may stop working if it becomes wet or is dropped or damaged in some other way. The A40 air purifier is equipped with a 4 layer filter package to clean the circulated room air. The HEPA/Enzyme filter and activate carbon filter continue to work for a long period of time after opening. The frequency of use and operating conditions determine how often the filters must be replaced. When the filter is new, the vertical filter lifetime bar lights up green. depending on the conditions , the lights will be de-activated stepwise. When the filter is saturated, the `Filter' light following steps: Switch the device off and remove the plug from the socket. Unfasten the front panel 1 with the push tabs 6 on both sides of the device. Remove the screen filter 7 from the device and then remove the H E PA-/Enzyme-filter 8 and the activated carbon filter 9. Install the new activ carbon filter, followed by the HEPA-/Enzyme-filter and finally the screen filter (see section B). Dirty filters can be disposed of with household waste (not biologically degradable waste) without any problem. Will remain on and the following filter replacement will not be switches on (red).
